My Day at the Redlands Disability Expo 2025. I’m always on the lookout for events that truly celebrate inclusion, and the Redlands Disability Expo was just that a beautiful, welcoming space where everyone felt seen and valued.

When we talk about inclusion, it’s important to recognize that accessibility goes far beyond the presence of a ramp or a designated toilet. It’s about ensuring that every person — regardless of their mobility, sensory, cognitive, or communication needs — can participate fully and independently in everyday life.

Kindness often begins with curiosity. When we take a moment to ask, listen, and understand, we open the door to connection — and sometimes, the most powerful lessons come from children.

Sometimes courage doesn’t look like climbing a mountain or running a marathon. Sometimes it’s just wanting to go on the slide.

On April 22nd, around 1 billion people around the world take action to raise awareness of the climate crisis and bring about behavioural change to protect the environment. This is called International Earth Day. It’s a time to appreciate our planet and take action to protect it. Here in Australia, with our stunning beaches, vast outback, and unique wildlife, Earth Day is the perfect opportunity to step up and become an Earth Warrior!

On March 8th, women across Australia (and the world) will come together to celebrate how far we’ve come, reflect on the long battles we have fought, the glass ceilings we have smashed and look forward to the road ahead with increased confidence

Every year on March 21st, we celebrate Harmony Day—a special time to embrace  inclusiveness, respect, and the joy of multiculturalism and difference. It’s a day to recognize  how amazing it is to have people from different backgrounds, religions, sexual preferences,  skin colours and languages all coming together as one in Australia.
